In honor of Arizona’s Centennial in 2012,
former Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor
is filmed having candid conversations with
prominent Arizona politicians.
The discussions will include events and topics
that have shaped Arizona's political landscape,
recount historic occasions and look to the future of the state.
About the host Justice Sandra Day O’Connor:
Undoubtedly, the most notable Arizona woman to emerge in American government over the past century, Justice O'Connor was the first woman to sit on the United States Supreme Court. She steadily influenced legal precedent and served as a swing vote in many key cases. Justice O'Connor is a pioneering force in Arizona and known for her independent thinking and direct manner.

Each conversation will be taped in full and edited to a one half-hour show ready for television broadcast, internet distribution, and classroom use.
- Television Broadcast and Internet opportunities: Local Arizona outlets and National Public Broadcasting, C-Span, social media and internet streaming.
- Community Outreach: Events at the O’Connor House and Arizona Historical Society Museum. Also, excerpts from the series may be used for a variety of outreach and fundraising events.
- Educational Use: High School and University Classes - American History, Arizona History, Current Events, Civics, Economics, Public Policy and Water Law.
O'CONNOR HOUSE - Bringing People Together
The Centennial Conversation Series, sponsored by SRP, will take place inside the former home of Justice O’Connor. The Centennial Conversations will embrace the spirit of Justice O’Connor’s Arizona home and the O'Connor House mission. Civil discourse leads people to work collaboratively in order to find and implement solutions for issues that impact our cities, state, and nation. In an atmosphere of goodwill, we will witness unscripted conversations about events that shaped our communities and our lives as Arizonans and Americans.
