The O’Connor House project began as a community effort to move the historic adobe home of Justice Sandra O’Connor to its new location in Papago Park.  As the construction progressed, it became clear that this project was not just about bricks and mortar.  Under Justice O’Connor’s leadership, the O’Connor House soon became home to a broad community effort to drive civic action through a process of civil discussion, consensus and collaboration—leading to action.  To date, hundreds of organizations and individuals have been convened to formulate and implement solutions to important issues affecting our state and the nation.  Current programs include:

At a time when our state and our country need leadership to address significant economic, social and political issues, O’Connor House offers both a historic place and a process of problem solving and civic action through inclusive consensus building.
